Michael, a big and strong kid, was often referred to as Big Mike, a nickname he didn't particularly like. He had the opportunity to attend Briarcrest Christian School, a prestigious school in the white community. The white kids in his class would look at him strangely, as if he were a strange creature. He struggled academically, with low grades that left his teachers shaking their heads. Fortunately, some teachers made an effort to help him, trying to understand him and uncover his potential. They sought to reach his true identity and find a way to connect with him. It's worth noting that many students in Thailand face similar issues, but most parents hope to rely on the school to solve these problems. However, many teachers are overwhelmed, with a high number of students in each class. Sometimes, the teachers themselves have their own problems and are unable to help. As a result, many students have to leave school, leading to a loss of future prospects. Some turn to substance abuse or become pregnant at a young age, becoming ongoing issues for society. This is the "Blind Side" of Thai society.
